As One Year Ends and Another Begins
Today is 1st January 2026. Another day, another number. These simple digits give us something rare: “a moment to pause”. A chance to look back with honesty, and to look ahead with intention. An opportunity to learn from what has passed and improve the life that still lies ahead.
I am deeply thankful to the Almighty for every chapter written in my life so far, some were thick, some were thin but still Almighty helped me escaped through all. For the people who walked beside me this year especially the close ones (my wife, my parent, my son, workmates), and for those who have been part of my journey for many, many years. Whether their presence was short or long i believe that they have shaped me in ways I may not always realize immediately.
I am especially grateful for a supportive family, a foundation that quietly built me into who I am today. I always believe that the greatest gift my parents have given me was not just comfort or security, but the ability to learn. That single blessing became the source of everything else. It taught me how to adapt, how to grow, and how to keep moving forward even when the paths were unclear. The year was challenging in many ways, but my capability to adapt and learn helped me grow.
When I look back at the past year, I see so much to be thankful for. The journey moved me from learning to traveling, from traveling to a deeper spiritual understanding of life, and from curiosity to creating new waves in the tech world which i am truly enjoying.
Through it all, I have felt guided and protected by the One who created us all, even during moments when I didn’t fully understand the path ahead. Today, when I finally allow myself to sit back and feel a sense of calm, I know it is not because of luck or coincidence. It is the result of showing up every day, staying patient through uncertainty, and holding on to belief during times of doubt. This moment reminds me that as long as the effort continues and the intention stays sincere, there is still nothing that truly feels impossible.
Life took on a completely new meaning after building a family of my own. Becoming a parent changed everything. Having children has been the most beautiful experience. One that words will never fully capture and is shaping me into something new. It brought my childhood back to me, but this time, through new eyes. It gave me the chance to relive innocence, wonder, and joy, and to experience it again, this time with purpose, responsibility, and gratitude. InshAllah, this journey continues with even more depth and love.
As a new year begins, the intention is simple:
– To stay grounded.
– To keep learning.
– To work harder than ever, but with more wisdom.
– To be present with family.
– To build with integrity. And to never forget where the journey started.
If there is one lesson worth carrying forward, it is this: growth is not loud, gratitude is powerful, and consistency always compounds.
Here’s to another year of learning, becoming, and believing.
Happy New Year.
